MISCELLANEOUS CREATIVE

My experience isn’t limited to just writing ads or creating Instagram posts for others. My creativity and passion don’t shut off when I leave the office or close my laptop. I’m always working on something whether it’s music, writing, or content creation. Here’s a few examples of projects I’ve worked on, produced, or co-produced including music videos, album art designs, merch designs, social media content, band press releases, and event production/planning.

MOSSBREAKER - BETWEEN THE NOISE AND YOU

Mossbreaker’s Between the Noise and You featured a multifaceted campaign that required a full suite of deliverables including album art and design, social media creative, a music video, merch designs, and band bio copy. Chris Wolford was responsible for the art direction and design concept for the album art as well as the music video. I collaborated with him on overall design input, layout, and copy editing for the album. I also produced the music video and wrote the band’s bio featured on their record label’s website.

DAISY CHAIN - HARD ROCK LIVES & VARIOUS WORKS

Daisy Chain’s rough, punk rock aesthetic is expressed through gritty designs and simple straight-forward copy. The band has a high creative output including regular merch drops, music videos, and consistent single releases. My involvement with the design has been collaboration with designer/guitarist Dandee Ronruen. I also produced the music video for the single “Get It Together”.

MOSSBREAKER - SEPARATION ANXIETY

Mossbreaker’s Separation Anxiety was a humble project with high hopes. The campaign was small and entirely self-produced by the band. The deliverables included a music video, 7” artwork, and social media and print flyers. Chris Wolford based the album layout and design around photography by Jamey Hoag. I collaborated with Wolford on overall design input, layout, and copy editing for the album. I also co-produced the music video. This release also included a curated record release show, which required event planning, location scouting, talent booking, and more.

MOSSBREAKER - LIVE AT THE REGENT THEATER

The opportunity to create a full-length, multi-cam live video presented itself when Mossbreaker was offered an opening slot with Hum and Mineral. The show sold out almost immediately since Hum hadn’t played live in over a decade. The goal was to capture that moment in music history, which was both a landmark for the band and the genre as a whole. I captured footage using GoPros and enlisted the help of a friend to shoot footage from the audience. I sourced an editor and collaborated on cuts to create to video for the band’s YouTube channel.
